As an older person who is healthy, at my age there is scant difference between time and health. I live cmfortably zen-style on SSI, so money is secondary. I see too many older people with diseases for whom time is secondary. And then, there is the delightful Mark Twain wisdom: Many men die at 27 but are not buried until 72. It is how we use our time that is the crux..

Pity. You did not explain the causes of mutations but the types. Sickle cell trait is highly selected for in malarial areas; it is the unfortnate circumstance of both parents having the trait where half the offspring have the trait, a quarter do not, and a quarter have sickle cell anemia.

Vitamin D without K2 AND boron are like being in a rowboat without oars. I read the study and it is deeply flawed IMO.

Good article, although distant and retrospective psychiatric and disease diagnoses are often wrong. And, like those who call themselves a polymath, those who call themselves a genius are deluding themselves as those two appellations are best applied to someone by historians and outside observers. Do you think Einstein called himself a genius? True polymaths and geniuses do not proclaim it -they just do their thing, as acclaim is less important to them than their output. No harm, no foul, just an observation.
