You are so wrong. I know of no proof, nor do you offer a proof, that GMO food has less nutritional value than non-GMO food. Since corn is only a small part of our diet, it is not the cause of obesity. High fructose corn syrup does contribute to obesity. However, IMO, the major cause of our obesity epidemic are the food-industry's changes to the Standard American Diet

focusing on salt, sugar and fat for flavor and the changing dining habits of Americans - long gone are the slowly-eaten, conversation-filled family meals. These are now replaced by a drive to the nearest heart disease machine - a fast food restaurant. These lethal restaurants are the food analogy equivalent of William Blake's "satanic mills".

I am a retired hippie who had many of the views of my generation. With learning, my objections to GMO (improving food output globally) and nuclear power (carbon-free energy) have morphed to support for these two technologies.
